The Central pinnacle: The Assumption of the Virgin and The Coronation
of the Virgin.
This section is missing. General opinion is that it featured the above
elements. but this is, well, an assumption. It is based on good
evidence though, including a description from the fifteenth century by
Ghiberti.
The fragment below, from the Museum of Fine Arts in
Budapest, is widely considered to be part of the missing panel.
